Brief
Bring focus on operating coal power stations which are accountable for 78% of CO2 emissions and as a result global warming and its alarming effects.
Specifically talk to parents about an extensive report by the IPCC and urge them to sign a petition.
Idea
Parents are people with an extra vulnerability in comparison to everyone else: their children. Even if the most devastating results of global warming seem distant for themselves, they aren’t for their children, which is why we target them to act and sign a petition against the operation of coal power stations.
Solution
Parents are always in search of the new fun thing to do with their kids, games and toys being no1. For them to understand the importance of signing our petition, we highjack a popular board game, played by families for almost 100 years and bring the global warming results highlighted by the IPCC, to the forefront, using all of its components from pawns and cards to the board.
